I have very solid lumps in the right hand side of my chest - they feel like they are behind my breast, attached to my ribs. They are immovable and very tender. About two years ago I was referred for an ultrasound on them by my doctor, and the sonographer referred me for a biopsy. The biopsy results gave me the all clear and the consultant said they were "most likely fatty tissue" but I was given no more explanation or follow up.
However, these lumps are getting bigger and more sore. Not long after the biopsy I started getting bad lower back pain which is currently undiagnosed and not responsive to physiotherapy. As you can imagine, I'm concerned and dont quite know whether to go back to the doctors. To be Frank, the consultant made me feel pretty small and like I was wasting his time when I had the biopsy, despite me just doing what I was referred to do by both my GP and the initial sonographer- I'm not keen to go through that again.
I'm 40, female and otherwise mostly healthy, although a little inactive. Any advise much appreciated.
