Worried about swollen groin lymph nodes

Hi I saw this thread and wanted to ask something. I have type 1 diabetes and I am severely uncontrolled so I get thrush a lot as a consiquence and my groin lymph nodes have been swollen for a good few years but there's no chance I'm going to the doctor (severe anxiety) do you think the thrush could be the cause of the swelling oh and I get a lot of pain in them if there's any pressure (like my dog jumping on me) it makes me want to cry this is to anyone who can answer by the way

    I am so sorry to hear about your worries. Unfortunately no one on this forum will be able to tell you what it might be and I think if you are concerned, it would be a good idea to talk to a doctor about it. You could first talk to a doctor on the phone maybe if having a face to face appointment causes too much anxiety. I know it's really hard for you given your anxiety, but do try and give your surgery a call and arrange to talk to a doctor. Your GP will be in the best position to diagnose you and tell you more about these swollen lymph nodes. Do mention your medical history and the fact that you have type 1 diabetes. 

    I hope you manage to speak to your doctor soon and that you find out more about what could be the cause of these swollen lymph nodes. Keeping everything crossed for you!

    I dont know much but if theyve been like that for years with no other problems it probably fine and im pretty sure if you get a yeast infection they can become swollen
