Small pea sized lump found on my inner labia

Hey!

 

I've just turned 22 and I have found a lump on my top right side inner labia. It doesn't hurt unless I squeeze it however on the first day of noticing (3 days ago) it hurt to walk because it was quite swollen but now it's fine unless squeezed - I don't know why this could be so as you can imagine I'm very anxious.  
 

I would really appreciate some advice.

    Hello!

    I am also 22 and had this around 2 years ago and turned out to just be a Bartholin Cyst!!  But I recommend calling your GP and they can point you to a gynecologist just to check things out. Can never be too safe! 

    Also, keep an eye on it if it changes colour or shape and try not to touch/squeeze it as they can potentially become infected !! 

    In the mean time for self care try soaking it warm water a few times a day with a cotton pad and if it is painful take pain killers - this worked a treat for me!
