Hi, i havent had what you have had but im just waiting on results of my biopsy, i had breast cancer 2 years ago, and was hoping this new lump i had found was scar tissue, but when i pushed for an answer when they where scannng me she said its very worrying, so i now think i have got it again, im just praying she has it wrong, did you find a lump yourself??

Yes I found a lump then they found  another lump so I have two, I hope your biopsy comes back benign xx good luck

I had the same experience actually. A month ago, I went for a follow-up and based on the mammogram and ultrasound imaging, the doctor was quite convinced that its cancer. I had a core biopsy done the same day. Results came back as benign (fibroadenoma). We were going to schedule a lumpectomy. 

My doctor then discussed my case with her colleagues, and they were still quite worried about the imaging, explained as a imaging-pathology discordant results.  So, they asked me to get a vacuum biopsy, which thankfully also came back as benign. 

Reading online, I understand there's a small chance that biopsies can give false negative results, i.e. that cancer is not detected from the small sample thats taken, esp if its a large tumour. Mine was 18mm. 

The doctors are just being extra careful, and especially alert about missing a cancer when a lump looks suspiscious on the imaging. I know we dont want to hear bad news (and I am really hoping and crossing my fingers very hard for you that yours will be an all-clear), though if its anything, best to detect it early than to let it go untreated. Treatment will be easier the earlier the detection. Let us know, hon.

Hi, unfortunately mine caame back as cancer AGAIN, i got told monday, had  bloods taken tuesday, CT scan Thursday to check its not in any organs thankfully it wasnt,now having a masectomy and more chemo, so not the best news, but not the worst news, 

so your waiting for results on your vacuum test did they say how long you will have to wait?xx

the waiting is the worst, i know mine wasnt the nest result but i was still clinging onto the fact it could be good, 

i was not good in the 12 days i waited my stomach was like being on a  roller coaster, 

i really hope you get the right result, im sure you will xx
