I'll start by saying that I'm a 22 year old female. I first discovered a hard, painless round lump thats about the size (or slightly smaller) of a pinhead under the skin near my clitoris last August (I can't rememeber how big it was then). I thought nothing of it, thought it was a spot as I couldn't see it with a mirror (still can't as its under the skin). I remembered it around December and decided to check and it was still there, maybe slightly bigger although I don't think so because its deep inside the skin and in an awkward place that unless you find the right angle, its hard to feel. I started my period after this and checked again once it was over and it had swapped sides - same lump but on the other side. Eventually, it disappeared from that side too and I thought it was gone. This takes us to March where I remembered it again and checked and lo and behold - its still there, in the original spot, exactly the same! I am so confused as to what this is, its been 10 months now and it hasn't changed and cannot be seen or popped as its under quite a thick layer of skin (it seems to move but its primary spot is in the hood of the clitoris). I have no other symptoms, it doesn't itch or cause me any discomfort. I tried to get seen by my gp but because of the pandemic, they are only taking urgent cases and I've had no luck even having my calls answered. I'm now getting quite scared that this might be something sinister I've left for a while and my anxiety is through the roof :( Has anyone got any clue what this could be? I will try to get seen as soon as I can but I predict this will take months yet.
