i'm just lookin for advice to see if anyone has had similar issues to myself.

I had my daughter 7 months ago. From what I remember my periods went back to normal but it was quite a hectic time so I wasn't taking a great deal of notice of them. Anyway in April I realised I was having a period every 10 days. Initially I thought I hadn't been taking my contraceptive pill on time everyday so made a point to make sure I did this. However this made no difference. I also had a small amount of bleeding after I'd had sex. I went to the doctors in May. They said they could see that I was some inflammation inside but just to monitor the situation and go back. Last week the bleeding got worse. I had bled for 10 days after having sex. I went back to the GP's today who has examined me again and the inflammation is worse and therefore has made me a cancer referral for me to be seen within two weeks. I am absoloutely petrified that I have cervical cancer. My last smear was nearly 3 years ago so plenty of time to develop cancer. I cannot  bare the thought of leaving my baby and keep thinking the worst.
