I had a similar experience to you a few weeks ago. I had a mole on my back that I've had since a child but has changed over time. It was elevated and also had developed a dark coloured edging/was crusty around it so was very concerned as it ticked all the boxes for melanoma. I took pictures for the GP and he booked me an emergency appointment the next day at the dermatologist clinic as he was suspicious (ahain freaking me out!) Similarily to you, I have 2 other moles that they looked at as well and told me to keep an eye on but wanted to remove the back mole as again wanted to rule our anything "sinister", seems to be the common procesdure! I also had biopsy results that they said it would take 2-3 weeks (took 3 weeks) and thankfully came back non cancerous (benign). But I seriously would not worry about the biopsy taking it's time, it dosent indicate anything worse. 

I did the exact same thing as you with googling all different signs and panicking about the biopsy results as I also have lots of moles. The only thing I can suggest is to stop looking on google as it does drive you crazy and convinces yourself that there is something wrong when there's a high chance your mole is just benign and nothing to worry about.
