waiting for a consultation so anxious

Hi my name is lin I'm 43 and I've just found a large lump on my right breast I've been having pain down my right arm for last 6 weeks didn't think anything of it until I checked my breast and found this large strawberry shaped lump! over the last week waiting for my consultation with the Consultant  which is over the phone. I've started to experience pain running from my collar bone up through my neck I'm so frightened and worried I feel like I really want to see a Consultant as soon as possible but with covid 19 everything is being delayed is anyone else Experiencing same difficulties?

    My journey started 3 months ago and finally have a face to face with consultants on Friday with results etc from scans and biopsy. The nurse initially said it would be over  the phone but that changed on Friday. My biopsy was 19 May but apparently all the results weren't back by last week. Would rather have phone call as it's a fair journey to hospital !

    Think every area is different and I live on south coast. Never been so stressed and think everyone waiting has extra worry at moment

    Im not sure of the waiting times in normal times but we are in the same position as you, My husband was told in a phone call  on the 28 April, and then told it had spread on the 11th May - face to face appt, biopsy 19th May and awaiting results and a telephone appt on Monday 15th June, I feel we have been waiting forever but sounds like not from Mermaids 132 comments. We are in South Yorkshire

    It's been a loooong  journey and the nurse wanted me to let her book a CAT scan for next week - (in case biopsy shows it's malignant - and spread). I have said no, that I will wait until after face to face and results and options- then decide. Only so much I can cope with at once !!
