  • Hi Sal,

It's certainly never easy waiting for results so I can understand how you feel. Some people say it helps to keep busy and to try to keep your mind off things while waiting.

I hope it's not too much longer to wait for you - and do use this forum as much as is helpful for you at any point.

    Wishing you all the best,

  • Hi Sally,

I wonder I f you've had the results yet? I had a couple of biopsies this Friday just gone, 17th/07 - and I'm now waiting for the results. My symptoms were sore and dry  throat that went on for 2-3 months, difficulty swallowing, hoarse or weak voice,  asymmetrical tonsils - turned out there was a cyst there, and an asymmetry at he base of the tongue.

Now in post-biopsy time - my throat seems to be hurting more, not sure if this is due to the procedure itself or not.

  • Did you ever find out what this is? your symptoms sound very much like mine.

  • Yes, Anonamin - it was all clear.
It was such a total relief- I was convinced there was malignancy but was wrong. Wish you all the best & I do hope you are no where near as worried as I was.

  • Wow im so happy for you! I'm only 25 :( i hope everything is okay. Did you ever find out the root of your symptoms?

  • No - have no idea what caused the symptoms. Some of them got better - like I now have no difficulty swallowing and my voice is not hoarse anymore. I think some of my symptoms were anxiety. I still have dry throat though which is very annoying.
