large benign lump won’t go away - options

An update to my last post - they did a ultrasound and said that the lumps were just bumpy tissue, however it's not painful so I think the first doctor I saw was right when she said it was a fibrodenoma. They didn't do a biopsy on me, which is relieving, however the lump is still there and it's not going away. Has anyone else had an experience with a benign lump that's quite large and won't go? I'm considering asking to have it removed but i'm not sure if it's the right thing to do

  • That's great news bnsvessel although I can understand your concern about it not going away.

Hopefully some of our members who have been in this situation will get back to you soon but if you'd like to have a quick chat with one of our cancer nurses about the possible options available to you then do give them a call on 0808 800 4040. Their phone lines are open Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.
