I am 48 and had cancer of the salivary gland 5 years ago. It was caught early and fixed just by surgery. In Feb I had a gland pop up on the other side of my neck, followed by one sided throat pain. The gland went down, the pain came and went. It's now been pretty constant for 3 weeks. Nothing you can feel on the outside of the neck but a feeling of something hanging behind my nasal passage down towards my tonsils. It's driving me insane. Am v lucky as have private health so seeing my ENT on Tuesday but still so scared.
