I had a lump on my thyroid discovered during an mri for my spine. I was referred for an ultrasound at the biggening of March just before lockdown. I then never heard anything for a while, understandably. But last Friday I went for my ultrasound, the radiologist dr said it was larger than thought and very vascular , she took two biopsies and told me it was quite possible it would be malignant. She also said be cause it is behind my thyroid it is up against my windpipe so I should try to not get stressed as the extra blood pressure would squeeze it against my windpipe further. I'm so scared I haven't heard anything since yet I don't know if I'm supposed to be shielding and I worry about chasing it up and what treatment plan will be while covid19 is around?
