Worried as referred to gynaecologist in 2 weeks after doctor unable to view cervix as too much blood noted but not on menstrual cycle, has anyone else had these symptoms?
I'm going through the same been bleeding for 23 days now, I've got a smear booked for Monday. I've had previously abnormal cells and had them took out that was in 2014, I'm thinking they've come back
I went to the doctors Wednesday just gone with bleeding after sex, when the nurse looked she said my cervix is high and slightly swollen I've had an urgent referral to the hospital and its booked for this Wednesday. She has tested me for stis which I'm sure will come back clear as me and my partner have been together for years! She also said she could see a graze (can't remember the correct term) and that can cause bleeding. Fingers crossed everything is OK for both of you x
No my appointment was pretty fast and the procedure (colposcopy) so just like smear just abit longer and I had abit of cramping after it and I was back in work the next day.
hsd you got your app through? I've got a telephone app on Monday, after dr did an urgent 2 week refrrral today due to bleeding. I'm petrified. Struggling to even eat :(
Hi, try not to worry know it's easier said than done. I got my appointment had to have hysteroscopy and had uterine polyps removed, hopefully all will be ok. Hope you get your appointment soon.
