I'm sorry to hear that you're waiting on a biopsy. We know that waiting for tests and results can be a difficult time and it's normal to feel a bit worried about things. 

If you've still not heard anything about your appointment then it may be worth giving the hospital a quick call next week.

Hi just wondering how you are doing? 

Had lymph node biopsy last Friday hope to get the results on 30th June. Hoping for good result  part of me is hoping that the findings on the ultrasound were wrong don't know how accurate they are. Just need to know one way or another.

The same as me had a biopsy on the back of neck came back reactive. They werent keen on biopsy in groin but i started itching they were going to then node reduced from 2cm to 1cm. Bloods ok So left at that feeling well apart from that. It is such a worry. Hope all ok on the 30th.... Did you ger a biopsy on your neck also?? Have you any other symptoms?? 

My bloods were ok apart from my ESR being raised. Get the occasional night sweats not due to menopause weight loss itching on back and in the groin area where my enlarged lymph node is. Did not do biopsy on lymph nodes in neck only groin my lymph nodes in neck are 1.5cm but the one in my groin is 2.4cm but that one has grown in size since last ultrasound.

Esr think thats inflamation in bloods. They never biopsed my groin node after itching started as it went down so hopefully all ok they said i could get infection etc in groin  so biopsed neck which was reactive hope they never took the wrong node ive to go back if any issues Its such a worry best wishes 

Just wondering how you got on with your biopsy results? 

Had phone consultation with haematologist got to have biopsy done again as they did not get a good enough sample so now I have got to wait at least another 2-3 weeks or longer to find out. At the moment I am thinking about not having this biopsy done as when speaking to haematologist she seems to think it is not lymphoma but something else. But keep thinking if she thinks that why send me for biopsy in the first place. I keep asking if she could explain what the findings mean on my ultrasound scan but never get a proper answer. So I think I might have a talk to my GP and see if he will explain what it all means very confused at the moment.

Yeah its the it is it isnt you just want to know. probably best to speak to your gp.  My general surgeon didn't want to biopsy groin mines was 2cm and a few behind that on ultrasound because he said i could be left with infections and nerve damage so never got one and node went down after 2/3 months.  He biopsed the back of neck he said you get a good reading from that and safer that result was the same as you reactive in neck. I have itching also gp and hametoligist seem to be happy to leave it at that. And ive to get back to them  hopefully not if any changes. There not monitoring me or anything. My bloods were also ok.
