I'm sorry to hear that you've been told that the recently removed fibroadenomas need more testing. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious about this and any possible changes in results. 

I'm sure that prior to having had the surgery that you had a number of checks on your breasts such as a mammogram or ultrasound. Try to keep positive that these tests would most likely have picked up on any serious concerns and hopefully these additional tests are just a precaution to make sure that there is nothing else going on. 

Has the Consultant said how long you will have to wait for your results? Hopefully it won't be too long but if you're like to talk through your concerns with one of our nurses in the meantime then you're welcome to call them. They are available on 0808 800 4040 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm).
