Hello, i have lymph nodes for seven months on the back side of jaw, not exactly on neck. I feel little bit pain since few days, otherwise i had no paid at all.
I am worried alot,someone told me that it is symptom of cancer, isn't it?
I can understand your worry. It might be a symptom of cancer, or it might be something very minor like a blocked salivary gland. Either way, I can't see any reason not to consult with your GP about it.
A few years ago I had a lump on the back side of my jaw. After a few months I visited my GP, who referred me to a specialist, who decided I should have an MRI scan. The scan result came back saying "No abnormality was detected". No further explanation. And then, a month later, the lump disappeared.
