lymphvascular not identified on report grade 3

Hello,

im hoping one of you may have some experience of this.... diagnosed Tuesday grade 3 DCIS (?) got my pathologist  report from GP as having a very unpleasant time of it with the hospital (long story).

report says in the conclusion 'lymphvascular invasion not identified'. Been on google and asked GP and I'm told this means the cancer hasn't spread to blood vessels or lymphatic system. Have any of you had this too? Waiting for results of CT scan and lymph node biopsy on Tuesday before being told of treatment plan.
Does this suggest it hasn't got as far as lymph nodes? I'm aware grade 3 fries and spreads faster. So bloody confusing.

im scared and trying to do all the right things mentally. But I've 3 days to go and I'm clinging on to this as a bit of hope. But so scared of kidding myself and actually getting there Tuesday to be told way different than I want to hear.

Just scared and very anxious.

thank you for reading this x so grateful xx

  • Hi MrsBoo,

I'm sorry to read about your worries and I can understand entirely that this must be unsettling and the wait for further information difficult.

My reply here will boost your post so more people will see it, and if it's something anyone here has experience with then hopefully they'll be along soon. I see it's now not long until your appointment. Do make a note of all the questions you have and be sure to discuss them at the appointment.

I hope everything goes OK tomorrow.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben
