Just read your post i think its down to individual hospitals and it may not be bad news for  you, and i hope that  it isnt.

I had an appointment at the hospital breast clinic on wed just gone.i had found a lump  in my right breast.Id  had a mammogram in August which came back clear. I had another 3 mamagrams on wed , again it didnt show up anything. But an ultrasound scan did, it showed up as a solid hard mass.  So i had to have 5 biopsies, 3 from my breast and 2 from under my arm. I also had a metal coil marker inserted into my breast. It was all a bit too much, i wasnt  expecting that. I was told there and then i had breast cancer.And that they woukd call me on Tuesday to tell me what tyoe of cancer it is , and  what procedures and treatments  i will have to have going forward.Your  hospital may be just giving you good news.i do hope so..xx
