Advice - digital rectal exam

Hi everyone,

i have just had a digital rectal exam after having pain with bowel movements for a few months. Doctors said she couldn't feel anything abnormal and I'm being treated for a Fissure. Would just like to know how accurate digital rectall exams are? Do they ever miss things or would they have definitely felt something if I had anal cancer ?

    Hi does anyone have any advice at all?

    Ive been stressing for weeks it's taking over my life. I have swollen groin lymph nodes the doctors attributed to shaving because they are small. But I am so worried she may have missed something on the DRE that's causing the ongoing pain, swollen nodes. I even paid private for this, please can anyone help?
