Thank you for your reply, I will contact a GP as soon as I wake up, but I'm just really curious, could a 14 year old get cervix cancer? I heard it's very unlikely for a girl my age to get it.

I am not an expert on gynaecolougy but I know that only people who have had sexual intercourse catch it.

I dont mean to sound personal, you are young, if you are not sexually active/a virgin, then you have no chance of getting cervical cancer.

As for someone your age who has had sex, if that is the case you might want to see if the nurses can tell you how common it is. 

Dependig on whether you have had intercourse or not, i would contact your GP, as any female who has had sex needs smear tests to screen for cancer every 3 years.

Thank you, I was really confused. Is there any type of vaginal cancer a 14 year old could catch?  I have  asked my mum and she isn't too sure either, but she seems to think it could be a cyst, but I'm not so sure about it. Thank you again for replying. 

Oh and I've already had my HPV vaccine but I'm still really concerned as this is a new thing I've found. Do you have any ideas on what it could be?

Hi Bridget. I am 34 now, but when I was a teenager (approximately 16 I think) I found a lump in my vagina. I wasn't concerned about it and decided to just wait and see what happened. I probably ought to have gone to the GP just to check, but it went on its own after a while. I never found out what it was, but I presume it was just a cyst. 

Hey Bridget! I know your post is 2 years old, but I was hoping you could give me some guidance in regards to this. I am having the exact same problem as you right now, with a lump inside my vagina at the exact same place you've described. It's really freaking me out and im worrying sick over it. I am 18 years old.

do you have any updates on your lump? Did it go away on its own?
