Really worried I have anal/collateral cancer

hi,

I am 34 yrs old and about 8 months ago started experiencing blood when going to the toilet. It covered a resonable amount of my pooh

I thought it was hemmoriods at first and didn't worry.

I made sure to eat more fibre but the blood has never gone away.

I have experienced increased fatigue sometimes, and occasionly my pooh is really thin.

I'm verry worried and really should have got this checked out sooner and have made a doctors appointment [they are only giving me telephone at this point but i shall push for in person]

during the 8 months I have increased fibre and the blood has gone from covering a resonable amount of my pooh, to half the time getting a small bit of blood when I wipe, half the time getting a bit of blood on the pooh. I am not sure if this is a good sign or if collateral cancer bleeding can be reduced when you eat more fibre?

regardless it seems to not be going away completely..

I don't know about back passage cancer but I would certainly phone your doctor and tell them all that you have told us. They will know if it is a concern and will ask to see you for examination or maybe able to explain why you are experiencing this, over the phone. Maybe it would be useful to have your post in front of you when talking to them.
