Years ago a nurse said I had some erosion on my cerivix and it put me off going for a smer as she said she couldn't do it.

Needless to say, when I went for one it was all ok, I hope the same for you,

Maybe your GP is just being cautious, which is a good thing,

I hope you don't have cervical cancer, googling is lethal as it aggrevates worry and anxiety.

Thanks for your reply [@Hope2bcancerFree]‍. I've been for a colcoscopy today and although I apprentice have a 'weird lumpy cervix' it is all normal! I feel like I can breath again! 
 

Added bonus, they did a urine sample beforehand and it's turns out I'm pregnant! xx

have found a smooth rounded lump next to the opening of my cervix. What did they say the lump was or does anyone have any idea of what this may be?

Hi Keskes, 

They never said what it actually was, they didn't know really, they said it could be damage from a previous labour or a small polyp but she said she looked at cervixes up close everyday and she wasn't concerned about what she was seeing. 
 

I guess I will see how things are after I've had the baby and go back if anything concerns me but all the docs that I have been seeing don't seem to be remotely

concermed about it. 
 

Good luck and try not to panic too much, I know I did and sent myself into a frenzy google
