sorry to hear that you are so worried. I would phone your GP as they are still talking to people despite coronavirus.

Try to resist googling symptoms.

A talk with your GP should put yuour mind at rest, please let us know how you get on.

Thanks, I went in january to my gp but it pretty much got overlooked. I'm just waiting to here back from some colposcopy results, so scared I've got stage 3/4 cervical cancer. Felt unwell for years but always thought it was to do with depression, now I realise it was probably cancer should have gone to the doctor!

I hope you get the results of your colposcopy soon.

While I understand your anxiety I I think it's bad for you to assume it's cancer.

If it's any consolation, over the years I've had to work colleagues who had colposcopies and they didn't have cancer.

Also I haven't always gone for smears every three years my last smear came back normal, I hope that reassures you.

I'm sorry I can't reassure you more, but I hope you can let us know how the colposcopy goes and in the meantime, I know it's hard but try not to worry.

I had a biopsy on my mouth and the waiting isn't great but worrying just adds to the unpleasantness.
