Scared about throat cancer

For 6 weeks I've had severe neck aches on one side, extremely tender glands and a hard lump underneath, feels like something stuck in my throat and I have lumps on one tonsil. I've lost half a stone in a month without trying. I can't think of anything else it could be so I'm super worried about cancer.
I have been experiencing a range of symptoms since February including swollen glands, sore throat and fatigue. I had a chest X-ray in March which was clear. I've been on about five course of antibiotics as gp kept saying it must be some kind of virus. 6 weeks ago the assumption was that I had coronavirus but I haven't had a fever and my cough has been mainly productive and not severe.
I've got very young kids and I'm scared. Just managed to get a referral to ENT specialist but that's only by going private as my gp won't even see me at the moment due to covid precautions.

  • Hi was just wondering if you ever got any news on this? I've had all the same symptoms for about 3 weeks and I'm really worried haven't had chance to see a doctor yet as I've been at work constantly minus weekends which doesn't help. Hoping to go next week but I'm really worried what they might say

hope everything was okay for you!
