I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing some discomfort recently. Have you tried changing your bra or going without to see if this makes a difference to the ache? I certainly suggest giving your breast care nurse a call just to see what they think. Routine mammogram screenings have been impacted by the Covid19 situation but if your BCN has any concerns they she'll certainly be able to get things checked for you.

Firstly thanku for replying.

Yes I've been without a bra on today and no aches! So need to get measured again when I am allowed out(sheilding at moment) so until then braless it is I guess lol.

Hi Danni,

If your cup size is still ok and, just your back is tight, you can buy a bra extender in most haberdasheries/ supermarkets. This is just a piece of material with hooks on one side and eyes on the other. You just add this on to the usual fastening at the back of your bra and this can give you up to about 2" extra across your back. I have only ever seen them in 3 colours - white, nude and black. I find these very useful since I had my double mastectomy 10 years ago.

You may have difficulty sourcing them in shops at present, but they are also available online.

Got an adjuster today...upto now seems alot better...at least will help until I go out and be measured!
