Been suffering with a lot of symptoms for a while and passed between GPs and an Endocrinologist who ordered a first batch of tests who originally thought it was my cortisol levels that might be the issue but that turned out alright so after another conversation she's requested urgent blood and urine tests for carcinoid. 
 

My symptoms are swollen ankles, anxiety, weight gain, facial flushing and some episodes of loose stools. 
 

Quite worried and anxious but I'm desperate for an explanation after 18 months.
