Does my CBC results indicate cancer?

So I’ve recently gotten a CBC for my swollen lymph nodes. I thought I had mono but the antibody test came back normal so now I’m stumped. My CBC indicated high monocyte (10.8%), low neutrophils (38.3%), and high lymphocytes (47.8%). Does anyone have any idea what this could indicate since my gp just told me to monitor the nodes and that’s it. She said it could be other viruses but we aren’t testing. Could this indicate some type of blood cancer?

  • Hi, I also have swollen lymph nodes (one since 2017) and my bloods also show low neutrophils, higher monocytes and high eosinophils. Just found your post interesting... Not diagnosed, just wondering what's wrong with me...

  • Hello again

I really think you need to stay away from this forum and googling all your symptoms.  You are just fuelling your anxiety.  Your GP is not concerned unduly and has told you to monitor the nodes. Nobody on here can give you any diagnosis or just guess that it maybe some type of blood cancer which at your age is highly unlikely.

This is a forum for people who are dealing with cancer themselves or caring for a loved one with the disease .

    Kind regards
