At the moment we don't know what these symptoms mean. It's natural to think the worst sometimes but these thoughts can be damaging, as you've mentioned this is affecting your mental health. It's a shame you have to wait a while for your next appointment but, as you know, these measures are necessary to make sure you are tested safely. You mentioned Googling and while it can be tempting to look for answers on an online forum, this can end up increasing your anxiety. Maybe talking things through with your family might help to change some habits that are making you feel bad.

Thank you for your reply, I have had to return to GP because of the pain and symptoms seem to be spreading. I know I am thinking the worst and silly because i am normally a positive person. But being furloughed, not normal life at moment has increased anxiety. My whole vulva area is now covered in white patches and extremely sore. The ulcer is not healing. I have steroids, antibiotics, painkillers!! But got a call today for my pre op and trying to think positive. Very hard. I suppose without knowing what it is I just wondering why it not going or healing.

The GP did prescribe instillagel, which i syringe onto the area at night and was amazing last night to have no pain and 8 hours sleep. 

I know stress will not help so need to stay calm and busy!
