I'm glad you feel a little better after posting. Writing down your thoughts, and reading them back, is a really good tool to help you process things. I'm sorry your symptoms are making you worry. I'd suggest you try and contact the clinic to let them know your symptoms have changed as you have described, so they are aware. We don't know what these symptoms mean at the moment so try to put those worries out of your mind, although I know that can be hard. Your appointment will come around before you know it.

I rang the ent secretary to see if I could have an earlier appointment due to symptoms but there is none. She even said there's a chance I could be cancelled due to covid . My appointment is two weeks today so have everything crossed it's not. I am beside myself with fear x

im not a doctor but I have a weird yellow/almost blister looking thing on my right tonsil. My left I have holes and tonsil stones. The doctors have given me antibiotics which have done nothing. My glands are palpable but an ultrasound said they are not big enough to be considered swollen and my throat feels swollen often and I get on and off earache alongside glands in my collarbone and armpits. My bloods and swab show no infection but from what you are saying I wouldn't rule that out! It sounds as though it could be an infection with your glands hurting and an earache! Try not to think the worst (easier said than done I'm panicking still) but there's no reason to think it's not an infection (most likely cause) for you!!
