Hi,

Im wondering if anyone has had a small cyst that causes pain?

I went to the doctors a few weeks back as my periods have been irregular, abnormal bleeding and a pain in my right ovary. Ive had a pain in my ovary for years but the last 7 months have been really different. 

Doctor referred me for blood tests and an ultrasound, blood tests came back slightly raised (CA125) and my ultrasound found a small (3cm) dermoid cyst.

My consultant has reffered me for more blood tests now and another scan in July. 

He also mentioned a cyst of my size should not be causing pain? But it really is! 

I guess my worry is if its not the cyst, what is it! 

Just wondered if anyone has been in a similar situation?
