Hiya, I'm kinda in the same boat, I'm 21 and have a lump just under my nipple and getting a call tomorrow with my appointment date for the clinic. I also have bad anxiety and just cannot stop thinking.. but trying to remain positive till results.. hope your okay x

Not everyone referred to the breast clinic beause the GP thinks its cancer, its the only place that has the expertise and equipment to find anamalies. Your GP has done the right thing in referring you so they can see what's causing your issue. It could be something quite simple such as fibro tissue. It would be very rare to have breast cancer at your age so try not to worry.

I didn't know if fibrocystic tissue could affect only 1 breast?

Hello. I'm in the same boat I'm 27 and feel a hard small lump on my right breast. GP has referred me to the clinic and could be over a 4 month wait depending if they think it's urgent. (I've asked to be sent private to get an appoiment quicker) I'm extremely anxious about it. I can't think of anything else.

Its told me I've got inflammatory breast cancer and all sorts. 

Not something I want to be thinking about at 19 really.

I've been told my referral is one month wait but can be sooner. She's told me she's not concerned but needs to be checked so hopefully its nothing to worry about. But it always goes through my head the negatives rather than positives

Well I'm hoping to be seen within four weeks as well.

My doctor doesn't think it's anything sinister she just wants to be sure.
