Hard non movable lumps in my neck

Hiya,

I hope you're all being safe until this uncertain times

I am going to share my experience and hoping for some help .

i have been suffering with PTS since December, had very bad tonsillitis in January .
later in March I have been suffering with weird neck pain and when I tried to "massage " myself I noticed a hard non movable tiny lump in my neck( under my skin) . I have called my GP 4x always been told that I had a blood tests done in March and it came all clear so it's nothing serious .

I had no other tests done except Chest x-ray and ECG as I have been diagnosed with costochondritis but
now I found another on in exactly the same place just under my right ear and both both of my tonsils are swollen .

I am totally patrified as my partner suffered with stroke in December and I keep thinking I have to be here to look after him just in case it happens again .

I am sorry for the long post but it's been going on for too longer and I needed to get it out of my chest .

thank you for your time ,

Kristina.

  • Hi Kristina,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to read about your worries. Try not to assume the worst, particularly as you have had good results and reassurance from the doctor so far.

The only thing I can really suggest is to keep an eye on things - although not all the time as this can make things worse by overthinking - and to revisit your GP if anything has got worse or not changed and you're still concerned.

If you have any particular concerns you'd like to talk through with our nurses then you can reach them on 0808 800 4040 - Monday-Friday, 9-5.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben
