Lump on my neck

I've had this lump on the right side of my neck just under my skull for 3 months since I noticed it. It's always supper tight, the pain gose from the bottom of my neck at my shoulder all the way up too the lump. It's a really uncomfortable pain, loosing sleep and just don't rly feel myself since I've noticed it. The lump had not got bigger since I've noticed it but had gotten more soar and uncomfortable, I don't want to keep relying on pain killers to numb the pain but actually find out what this is. The past week it had gotten really soar and I'm not sure what to do. Cause of this lock down I don't know what my options are. So came here to see if I should get it check and how I would go about doing that in this current situation of lock down.

  • Hello LOADING...,

I think it would be worth ringing your GP and mentioning this lump - even in the current situation of lockdown, it is worth discussing this with your doctor even if it is over the phone. Your doctor will be in the best position to advise you and tell you what your options are at the moment. Do mention that this lump is giving you a lot of pain and that you are losing sleep because of it.

Best of luck with your appointment!
