Hi anyone , I'm just looking for a heads up or a bit of advice as I am sending myself insane, I found a large hard lump on the top inner part of my breast last week , I went to my GP today and I am getting referred for a scan, I'm really nervous as I am only 20. I don't know what to think , I can't eat or sleep, does anyone know how long it takes to get referred ? Hope everyone is all well xx

    Hi there ...

    I know it's really scary waiting for tests after finding a lump ... but please remember 8.5 out of 10 lumps are benign... my first 4 call backs from mamorgrams over the years were fine... and each one, was scary waiting ..  and it's even rarer at your age ... it's not impossible,  but so so rare ..

    Nothing will stop you worrying but keep in mind the odds are well in your favour ... Chrissie x

    Thank you for that, I didn't actually know that , I'm just worried as my Nanna did have it. Every time I get upset about it I will just read what you've put as it has made me feel a bit better about it.
