Swollen lymph nodes

Hi all, any help or advice would be amazing!
I am 23 years old, over a year ago I had a scan and various swollen lymph nodes were found in both sides of my groin. I was not unwell and hadn't had any recent infections so the doctor sent me for some tests and more enlarged lymph nodes were found in my neck too meaning I was sent for blood tests and a CT scan (everything was very rushed causing me to panic a little). I was asked a lot of questions about if I felt tired (I had low iron so put it down to that) and if I had night sweats which I do but nothing major. Everything seemed ok, they wanted to do a biopsy just to be sure however I found out I was pregnant so I was told it's best to leave it and to come back if they become any larger. Now a year on the lymph nodes are all still enlarged and I don't know if I should be worried. Are the tests that I've had enough or  should I go back and see what the doctor says regarding the biopsy?
(don't know if I'm just overthinking due to being on lockdown!)

  • Hi Taz and welcome to the forum.

If the lymph nodes have got bigger and are still playing on your mind then it may be worth trying to get an appointment with your GP as they'll be able to answer your questions and put your mind at ease.

Hopefully some of our members will offer their thoughts and advice to you soon as well.

    Kind regards,
