Hey guys, my name is liam, i have had a swollen gland on the right side of my neck for more than at least 2 months now,i am 17 and i have no previous illnesses, i can't help but to worry, and i am wondering whether i should get it checked?
Sorry to hear that your feeling worried, I would go to the doctor for reassurance. I've had a lymph node for 2/3 months now due to a throat infection. I was quite concerned as it hadn't went down after a course of antibiotics but the doctor said that it is common for glands to stay up even after the infection is gone.
I've noticed that you haven't had any previous illnesses but sometimes we have fan infections without any symptoms. (Take the coronavirus for example, there have been lots of people who have tested positive but showed no symptoms)
