Concerns about symptoms... unsure what to do

Hi, this May seem really trivial in comparison to what many people face and for that i am sorry but with little support at home I really don't know where to turn! All the advice is to not contact you go etc unless essential or Coronavirus related and I really dont want to over stretch our nhs... I don't want to waste anyone's time at all. I just have some concerns and I'm wondering if waiting until after lockdown however long that may be will/could make a difference. I have all symptoms linked to womb/cervical cancer... bleeding after what I and doctor thought was early menopause (for 16 days now) a lump, painful lower back, bloated tummy, unbearably painful sex... I would normally jay make an appointment, no fuss, get checked and not worry to much but if I delay for what could be months will this be a bad thing? I am the mammy of a nearly year old and have chronic asthma so the thought of needed to access any medical services isn't one I relish I want to stay away from any potential Coronavirus infection ... if delaying a check up for a couple of months would make no difference then that's what I would prefer but I am a little worried. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated

  • Hi

The best option is calling your GP and asking for phone consultation.

I had blood streaks in my vaginal discharge between 11th and 16th February, rung my GP and got appointment for cervical screening on 19th February and I got my results on 2nd April- HPV positive and borderline changes. I had colposcopy examinations scheduled for 11th May, unfortunately in current circumstances it has been moved to... 12th August.

I noticed blood in my discharge today again... All I can and I'm going to do is ring my GP in the morning
