Hi I'm 58 and didn't stop having periods until I was 56.  I have started bleeding.  I have contacted my doctor and have an hysteriscopy appointment in 10 days.  I have been bleeding for 9 days now.  Sorry to be graphic but it's enough to have to wear a pantyliner and is not brown spotting but fresh blood. No clots though.

i though that the bleeding would stop in about 3/4 days but is carrying on the same.  Getting really worried and starting to think that I have other symptoms as well such as little twinges in the left of my abdomen.  Just eondered if anyone had had bleeding for as long as 9 days?
