Smear test hpv positive

Hi i received a letter 3 months after my smear to say i tested positive for hpv, im so scared i have a baby and dont k ow if he is effected. Although they ask me back in 26.01.2021.

 

They looked for abnormal cells but didnt find any i am  so scared.  

Does hpv go away or am i going to live with this. The onternet has scared me i have serve anxiety and no i wont sleep tonight please help

    I'm sorry you have worries, but it's best to put them out of your mind and not look online too much. There is a lot of conflicting information out there and it will only scare you more. HPV is quite common and only very few types cause cancer. You can read more information here, which I hope will reassure you.
