How are u getting on now?

Good evening, I came across this thread using Dr Google. I've been treated for acid reflux for over a year, with Omeprazole, for symptoms including mainly bloating and belching. I successfully weaned off it after a few months and was symptom free for several months. But after Christmas my symptoms returned and I've been back on Omeprazole since. I tried weaning myself off again several weeks ago but my symptoms returned again, however with chest pain, a sore throat, a cough, and now a swollen uvula and left tonsil. I've had an ECG and all standard GP tests on my heart and lungs. And now I've been referred for an endoscopy and blood tests to check white cell count. I'm so anxious about all this, but have been told the endoscopy was not an urgent referral so could take several weeks. I've been doing weekly lateral flow tests but only for the past couple of weeks since I've been back at work. I really want to put this all down to reflux but the additional symptoms are worrying me. 

Been having the exact same symptoms... initially started off as a pain on the left had side of throat and initial weeks was rather painful to swallow.

Now its just a dull pain. Any update? Are you still experiencing these symptoms
