Hi zedhard,
Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry you haven't received a reply yet - by now I'm sure you will have received answers and guidance from the hospital team. It's the medical team and your doctor who are best placed to answer this, so do discuss any concerns with them.
Wishing you all the best,

I have only spoken to my GP who knew very little. I am waiting
for a letter from the multi disciplinary team. I am expecting to
have an MRI or Endoscopy, but am very claustrophobic indeed..
Hi Zedhard
I wondered if you had managed to find anything out about the lesion on your liver? I too had an ultrasound to which they confirmed a gallstone but incidentally found a lesion on my liver that they didn't seem concerned about. They said they'd refer me for an MRI scan however their initial thoughts was that it is a heamangioma. I am freaked out now because my appointment for the MRI has already come through - that indicates it's a fast track referral and that to me is worrying.
let me know how you're getting on
Hi. Just back from ultrasound for gall stones as in so much pain yesterday but have by chance found a lesion on liver and now to go for MRI in 10 days approx ....freaking out and wondering if anyone can give me information thank you
Hey,
im sorry you're going through this. It's been the hardest time in my life with worry.
Today I managed to get my MRI brought forward as I couldn't stand the waiting. It was a different MRI to what I'm used to and they did put in a dye into my veins through a canular.
It's the waiting now.
what did they say when they found the lesion?
I am so sorry you are going through this too
I had just gone in for ultrasound for gallbladder as had gall stones and they said they had found a lesion on liver
obviously shocked but radiographer said it could be benign or a cyst
Dr also said it could be a cyst but they needed to check nothing more sinister
nurse then asked me if I had lost weight
had night sweats or very tired
definitely haven't lost weight but am tired and am in menopause so will have flushed
what about you ?? Scary stuff this
This is tough. We're given vague information which I understand but at the same time it is naturally going to freak a person out. Then to await results it tests is enough to make worry eat away at you.
pretty much the same as you. Haven't lost weight and my appetite it good. I also haven't had a gallstone attack since the last. Otherwise I feel good in health as I do eat healthily / despite I am overweight.
these findings are very often incidental and also benign.
I wish the most positive outcome for us xxxx
god bless you
I know .... let's keep in touch around how we get on
I think you will probably get your mri before me and all the best of thoughts that it will be nothing which it probably will
I'm going to try and distract myself with lots of Netflix
work and kids keep me busy ... though not telling them as no point
I take it they left your gall bladder in even with stones being there ... blinking agony yesterday with the pain and would not have known about lesion if hadn't had gall stone
weird ... take care
hi there, hope you got through MRI ok? I am new on here,I also suffer with being in the tunnel.Hope you know more about what is wrong now though.
Hi there , was just wondering if you had had any news from your MRI , thinking about you x
