Sorry to read about the hard times your having, both with your husband and your anxiety about possibly having cancer. I know it will be playing on your mind as your nanna had cancer but try not to worry and wait until you get your results as lots of things can cause blood in stool IBS, Crohn's disease, Hemorrhoids to name a few but if it does turn out to be cancer I understand it's scary and with cancer we all know someone who's lost their life to this terrible disease but it's not an automatic death sentence people do survive it, and medical interventions are improving all the time, I don't know you but you sound like a pretty resilient person to me and I hope you don't have cancer - I'm new here but I'm sure some of the more experienced people will be able to put your mind at ease some more - keep smiling! - Sean xxx
