I’m scared I have breast cancer

So I'm 14 years old and I am concerned and I don't know whether to be worried or not but my right breast is visibly smaller then the other and it is itchy. It's is really flakey and it's peeling. It is also sore around and on my niple when I touch it , it is a red compared to my other breast

    We can't diagnose on here, sorry.

    You aer young to have breast cancer, but I would phone your doctor to have a chat about your concerns as it might be an irritation.

    Hi Piper,

    Welcome to our forum. I am sorry that you have these worries about your breast. It is perfectly natural for most people to have 2 different sized breasts. I am not a doctor, but expect that the redness may be due to inflammation. Have you asked your mum to look at this to see what she thinks? It might be a good idea to contact your GP for a telephone consultation, as you may need to have an antibiotic to sort this out.

    At 14, I sincerely hope that this is nothing more untoward, but your symptoms don't sound typical of anything nasty. However, it is always worth checking.
