I have just recieved my smear result which says I have hvp and high risk dyskaryosis, I have an appointment for a colposcopy on the 15th April. 

I'm getting worried as for a while now I have been bleeding between periods and after sex, I also have been finding sex uncomfortable and painful. I mentioned this at my smear appointment and the nurse said it wasn't normal and to see the Dr as soon as I could get an appointment. I did book one but stupidly cancelled it because I didn't want to waste the Dr's time and what was the point as I'll just wait till my results come back. 

I have had a feeling somethings been wrong for a long time now but always ignored it and just told myself maybe it's my pill making me have irregular bleeding, now I have these results I am a little but worried. 

Will they be able to tell me straight away if it is something bad?
