Recently, my 3mm mole from birth has suddenly raised in height slightly and turned a reddish colour. When I touch it, it feels flimsy and as if it's going to fall off. Is this a cancerous mole or not?
I'm afraid no one can tell you this, only a doctor. Any mole that changes should be checked out. Please see your GP who will be able to tell if it's something easily treated or they will refer you to a dermatologist who is an expert in dodgy moles. You may find it takes longer to get an appointment at the moment but persevere as it needs checking & you need peace of mind. There is every chance it will be OK but don't leave it to chance as the quicker it's seen the better.
