Hi everyone I'm new to the forum and thought it might help if post.

Last week I randomly discovered a lump in my left breast I was so worried I did start Googling, bad I know.

I made an appointment with a doctor and was seen very quickly yesterday. The doctor felt both armpits and breasts and confirmed she felt the same lump. 
The positive side of things was that she said it's smooth and mobile but she referred me to the breast clinic and I am now waiting for that. I will have an ultrasound and maybe a biposy. Do you usually have both?

How long roughly have people waited to go to the breast clinic? I'm 31 don't have any other symptoms my breast looks normal apart from the lump which is about 1cm the doctor said. I can't help but worry and I'm so miserable especially now with this partial lockdown I feel worse
