I had the exact same preocedure as you on 11th March. My consultant rang me this morning to say that he had not yet seen my biopsy results but will try and review this week and contact me if there is anything sinister. He also said that all out patient apps had been cancelled due to CV19 with view to rescheduling in July.

Have you had any follow up apps since your surgery?

Re the CT scan - do you think this could be a delay from when you first were getting diagnosed? I had an ultra-sound and CT scan before they did the surgery. Did you have both too?

My appointment has not been cancelled. I should have my appointment on the 9th April. This makes me worried too because it must be worth going to the hospital for! 
 

Before my operation I had 2 ultrasounds and a biopsy. No CT scan. Maybe your right about it being a mistake. Shame the doctor is on holiday so I can't find out!

The biggest issue I have found with all of this journey is the actual waiting for scans, news, results etc. You generally feel better when you know what is happening and why. 

Hang in there. It may be worth a call to the hospital to see when they actually requested the scan? It might shed some light on things while you wait?

The scan was actually request recently. After I got my consultation letter. It was requested 3/4 weeks after my operation. 
 

I agree waiting is the worst part I just want to know what is going on! I called the hospital and because the consultant is on holiday they can't even tell me if my appointment is in person or over the phone. 
 

I just wish I knew more!

just wanted you to know that I had a call from my Consultant and thankfully my biopsy results were benign. I am relieved!
