Hi there so I've lost 5 stone in the last 2 years or a bit less, I thought it was my emphysema but I'm not sure and I found I have a lump in my right breast. I went to see my gp today and he has made me an appointment to the breast clinic in 2 days time. I'm worried now. I only weigh 6 stone as it is and my Dr said I'm losing more weight. I just wish I knew what was wrong with me i really don't feel well in myself. I struggle to sleep and eat.

    I can see you have your appointment with the breast clinic today so I just wanted to wish you good luck and let you know we'll be thinking of you. 

    Do let us know how you get on and fingers crossed the lump is no cause for concern.

    Hopefully the doctor will be able to figure out what's causing your other symptoms soon as well.

    Hi steph thank you so much for your reply. It means alot that I have someone to talk to. I went to the hospital and after he examined me he sent me for a mammogram and ultrasound scan, then I had to have 2 biopsies. He said that they look innocent so I'm feeling positive. Got to back next week for the results and stitches out. My mum had breast cancer twice, and when I went for a smear test last year they found some cancerous cells in my cervix and removed them straight away and everything was fine. So I am worried a little. Thank you for your time xx

    That's great news Nat :)

    I'm glad you're feeling more positive but it's completely natural to still be worried until the results come through.

    If you can, try to keep busy so you're not thinking about this too much. Easier said than done but it will help whilst you wait.
