Awaiting Biopsy Results

I had a biopsy on my tongue the Friday before last and am awaiting the results. I called to chase the results and they are still not back. I felt really relaxed and confident after the biopsy but I have had terrible neck pain and headaches this weekend ( not Covid 19) as I have had these pains for some time. I feel reassured that the biopsy is not back swiftly as I take this as it's not urgent. I am getting a little apprehensive. It seems trivial when I read some of the stories you are all going through. I genuinely wish everyone all the best as Iost my brother to cancer last year.Thanks that this forum exists.

    We know that it can be a really difficult time waiting for biopsy results and with everything else that is going on at the moment it's understandable that you're feeling apprehensive. 

    Try to keep focussed on positive things in your daily life - it will help with the anxiety and tension. Hopefully it won't be too much longer and you'll have some news but feel free to post here on the forum in the meantime to chat with others who understand or to offload.

    Thank you so much for replying to my email. I have generally been positive and busy. I expect the outcome to be fine but I would just like to know for sure.

    Thank you so much for the amazing work you do. I lost my brother last year to cancer and the care and support he and the family received was amazing. We would all be lost without you.

    The waiting is hard Neddy1. I'll keep my fingers crosed you hear something soon and stay positive.
