Like everyone else at the moment, my anxiety is through the roof about coronavirus, and increasingly so, due to the fact that I have symptoms of hodgkins lymphoma. Last week I managed to get in for a blood test that came back clear, but my painless lump in neck is still there and persistent itching is still quite intense. I've used that "ask my gp" app and requested to speak to my doctor about it so hopefully I should get a call tomorrow.
I'm worried because now I've developed a dry cough, which can be a symptom of lymphoma and also of this covid19. I'm terrified I wont be able to get in to see anyone and thus delaying the diagnosis and treatment process. And, if I do have lymphoma I will be classed as high risk and vulnerable to the virus but I wont have been able to get the tests to confirm it?
Has anyone had any experience of diagnosis in these scary times?
